Hello everyone. I need some advice. I'm putting a 8 horse F.M. "N" together and it is a nice basket case. Did it have shims under the mains originally or did they float and rely on the double nuts? If it had shims ,what material was it? Thanks in advance, Jimmy O'Hagan, Novato, Ca. 415 892 0236
