Glad to hear that she is getting better and will continue to do so.   Tell 
her to do any kind of exercise she can do while in the hospital bed, even  
if is just to grab the sides of the bed and squeeze hard, stretch the toes,  
etc.  Any exercise of the muscles will help her tremendously and keep from  
getting weak.  Been there and done that!
