Peter, Are you, then, talking about total weight (ie vehicle AND  
trailer) or the total weight of the trailer only (ie trailer plus the  
load on the trailer.)? If the former (and the vehicle weighs 2.2 tons  
unladen) you won't get much on the trailer before you are overweight!
