When I jumped back, she knew something was not right and saw the  snake.  
She was working on a crossword puzzle and promptly told me to get  rid of it! 
 She usually will let me give the snake a first chance, second  visit time 
is a dead snake!  Snake in the bird houses is also a dead  one.
