CRC 3-36 predated WD-40 but was a similar product.Liquid wrench is the only other product from that time that I recall being available,but the CRC seemed to work better.We got the CRC in 5 gal. buckets

Jim - Thanks for the heads up hint about using transmission fluid to
un-seize engines. I'm new and learning. But what is CRC?
