[SEL] Austral register update

Wow, tremendous work Patrick. I'm surprised at the number of engines
that are still around. I wonder why there hasn't been more of them make
their way to the states? I doubt there is more than a handful here in
the US. I'd like to land my hands on one someday! Looking at the
photos you have posted, I think I like the portables, 8 to 11 HP range.
Those cast wheels look nice but are they prone to any cracking? I could
see letting one drop off the edge of a ramp and hitting the concrete.
Could you tell me if the magneto was an option for any engine? The lamp
is neat but I don't like having to keep a torch under one for several
hours at a show.

Thanks!

Well it has taken nearly two years but I finally have the entire Austral
register in a computer datatbase! This means I can finally very quickly
look up engine details or add to the register. I have also updated the
register page on my site & hope to be able to make the register
available as either a printout or as a PDF on disk later this year.
