Hi Peter,
Just a thought- 7/16 UNF is the size of Holden wheel nuts ( pre 80's). It 
may also  be the same as other GM vehicles sold in Europe, so maybe try a 
tyre shop. You might need to machine them flat, but it may work out a bit 
cheaper.
