Don't know which model you have but the older ones merely had a sheet metal 
cover over the sprocket. It wouldn't take a lot to make one so you could 
"play". Watch the hand clutch--you'll never be able to reach it before you 
get kicked if the log decides to bite.

If you think that one is loud, you'd better get some ear plugs before you 
add to your collection as Mercury's are pretty quiet. The one man saws are 
the worst.
