Hey now!  USENET was developed by a couple of hillbillies in North  
Carolina.  Usage is not nearly as elegant as the web  or email.  High  
level anonymity is preserved, for those who have something to hide.

Because of its navigational complexity and lack of serious support by  
big software vendors, USENET will eventually go the way of the PINE  
email client, and fade to nothingness.
