George & Arnie:

Many thanks for the additional information.

We wanted to make sure that we had sufficient information here to be
able to recognise and identify any engines that we happened across, be
they in the UK or on our visits to Portland.

One of the problems we have, with the various series of Portland trip
reports that we have put up for viewing, is that very often we will
have a picture of an engine that is not identified, so the occasional
visitor is left wondering what it is, and why we didn't label it
correctly.

We hope to be able go through the four year's worth of pictures and
remedy this soon.

We have now been able to get hold of a 1980's BYB, which we should
have soon. We won't bother now with the new issue (Vol II) as it seems
by common consent to be not worth buying.

I wonder if Chuck Wendel was the architect behind this issue, or his publishers?

What happened to the original plates? Dave mentioned thet they were
'lost', any further information on that comment?

Thanks again,

Peter
