Dave,

The old set-up was much  better for everyone.  All the engines were in one place which helped the spectators and exhibitors.  The tractors provided no working displays and were basically left unattended.  So why did they need the shade anyhow?  There was actually empty space under the trees in the tractor area.  People ended up parking in this area.  If some of the exhibitors didn't have shade, at least some cars and trailers did!
