[SEL] GARDNER TOOL

Hi All, i picked up this small tool at a local swap meet on the weekend,it 
is 4in long and fits 1/2in bolt head,it has gardner spayer key on the brass 
plate,the script of the word gardner is identical to the engine script,the 
plate also reads tighten the clamp nuts only if the nuts are screwed up too 
tight the sprayer cannot work properly,hoping some one can tell me what 
engine these were used on,i have posted this question on smokstak aswell 
with a picture attached,cheers Dave
