  I feel very fortunate to have met such a fine man in person at Portland a 
few years ago, and to have been able to enjoy and learn from his deep 
knowledge of  engines and all things mechanical. He will be greatly missed 
in the engine community and all other areas that his life touched. He gave 
me a pin for my hat from the Nuenen Show that will now be a special reminder 
of him. Thank you John for all that you shared with us. Steve Royster
