[SEL] Showing engines or not, What about insurance?

Some might think I'm stupid for saying this, but it is my opinion. I'm not
concerned with insurance. I'll go and run my junk and not live in fear. If
it was mandatory to have insurance and I had to prove it, I'd stay at home
and run my junk. I run my Rumely at one show and the insurance thought
never crosses my mind, having a good time and giving people rides certainly
does. One old timer need quite a bit of help to get up on the platform. I
cannot use words to describe what a great time he and I had, and how much it
meant to him. A thousand and one things could have happned while he was on
it ro even getting on it. Some might remember my big air blowers I hauled
around last year. Anybody could have stuck their arm inside one of them and
probably had it chewed off. Never worried about insurance. I was always in
control of the equipment and could have grabbed anybody by the shirt collar
to tell them to stay away. Never had to. If someone did get hurt and wanted
to sue to pants off me, go ahead, I won't have 'anything' when it is time to
pay up and even if I had to 'pay up' it is only stuff. Whether it is my
engines or cash. It's still only stuff. It's all replaceable. This topic
comes up every so often and some will be concerned with insurance and some
won't, that won't ever change. I'm one of the ones that chooses to not be
worried about insurance. My opinion/comments for what it's worth.
