[SEL] New Project -- Wisconsin Model MBKND Status

Hi List,
I must be a glutton for punishment.  No sooner than I finished  with the 
Briggs & Stratton Model ZZ, I am starting to work on a Wisconsin  Model MBKND.  It 
is a single cylinder air cooled engine with shielded  ignition and spark 
plug.  The engine turns over easy and seems to have good  compression.  From the 
information I obtained on the Internet, this engine  was used by the military 
on a pump.  I received the engine with no gas  tank.  However, I was able to 
rework an existing gas tank to fit the  engine.
The magneto puts out a very hot spark.  The 7/8" diameter  output shaft is 
not keyed and only has 1" threaded section (7/8" 14 tpi).   I am using a 
Browning pulley with a taper bushing which I hope will be able to  hold the pulley to 
the shaft without a key.  The exhaust system was missing  and I intend to 
build one from some 1" pipe and a piece of 2" x 4" x  3" rectangular tubing.
Depending on what I have to do tomorrow on home chores and other  
commitments, I am hoping that I will able to try to start this engine no later  than 
Sunday.
I have a Wisconsin Model BKN manual on order and should be  here in about a 
week.  I think that only differences between the Model  MBKND and the Model BKN 
is the shield ignition system.  Can anyone confirm  this for me?
