When we used to run over to sweden with new truck chassis for building
gensets onto, we had a couple of trips in -25 deg C (-13 F) and the
garages used to sell an addative for the fuel which was basically
White Spirit, a refined paraffin. Winter diesel over there already had
it in, but the truckers used to put extra in if they were going north
to the Arctic Circle.
