I have a "foot motor" which has a flywheel and is operated much like a 
treadle sewing machine.  I have a big sign beside it FOOT MOTOR, the history of it, 
and tells the reader to feel free to operate it.  Many spectators will walk 
by, see it running from the previous person, and ask "what makes it run?"!!!
