Hi Paul,

In the six years I spent working with a licensed master electrician we
installed a dedicated 20A circuit for every nuke box.

That said,,,,,
When I built and wired my house I never planned for a microwave.  Ours
seems happy to share it's 20A circuit with the fridge, a counter outlet
that gets used every day and the outlet behind the stove that runs the
fan and light.  It as never tripped in the 27 years since I built the
house.

So,,,
Do what you want.   If I had the wire, and a spot in the panel, I would
run the dedicated circuit.  If not then I wouldn't worry about it.
