I purchased a Stanley jump start portable battery pack at Sams two years
back and use it to power a power winch to load engines on and off my
pickup. Works fine with a built in battery charger air compressor and trouble
light. Saved my butt on several occasions. There is enough battery power to
load several engines.

I've heard of Trojans lasting a year or so in your billfold but 9 years,
wow.
Seriously I just replaced batteries in a golf cart. Cost me over 100.00
each. I would bet golf cart batteries would be as good or better than
marine. Had a marine in a tent camper and that sucker was , big, heavy and
expensive and that was 30 years ago.

They tolerate deep discharges much better than the others. The classics are
Trojan T-105's. They have gotten pricey. I replaced my 9 year old Trojans
last summer with a pair of Interstate GC-2 at Costco for $83.99 ea.
