Those that have been on-list for a long time will remember Charlie. He was in aviation his entire life. He told the story of the goat sacrifice / bloody hand prints that the new owners  put on a new aircraft he took to Iran in the 1950's that was for "good luck". Looks like they still believe in that in that part of the world.
