Hi - Follow-up to earlier mail. This colour was widely used on British
(& possibly NATO) vehicles. May be a useful avenue to explore for
sources or matches, if your country has an active military vehicle
restoration heritage.

Note the comment that this colour darkens over time, whereas many other 
colours go
lighter.
