As a general rule like Rob said, a tapered pin does not go in a non tapered 
 hole.  Same rule as flywheel keys follow.  Your pin is only !/8  (.125) of 
an inch long and bigger in diameter than it is long.  For  something that 
small, and if the hole is straight I would think a straight plug  with 
.0005-.0008 interference would be sufficient.  Put the pin in freezer  and then 
drive in place.
