Ha! David, at Oz engine shows, the PUBLIC, en masse, are only allowed to
wander OUTSIDE ALL enclosures, with a slack look on their faces.
Take part? Ya gotta be joking! They might get injured!!

Joe and all,
I'm definitely NOT picking on anybody but you got me to thinking when you
said that about the youngsters at the shows.
I feel it's our responsibility to make sure there's fun things for the
children to do. They are children and fun for them is very different for
them, as it should be. Our local show has had the blessings of a couple that
spend the whole show setting up and working the kids tractor games. This
last year we even had couple of tractor parades just for the kids. We have
been adding on to our playground (appropriately themed, of course). We have
a Farm History Day for the school children in May.
I think I'm trying to say that the reason some of those kids are looking
bored is because I let them get bored. If that is the case then shame on me.
Maybe I need to play a game for a bit or let them take me for a walk (and I
can talk to my friends a bit later, thank you). Don't forget to focus on
what they are looking at , it will be so very much worth the time you take.
Oh, thanks for the video also, the look on the children's face is priceless.
Thank you
David
Off my soapbox now.

That was a real nice video, good to see the youngsters at a show doing
something other than sitting in a lawn chair looking bored.
Thanks for posting.
