I agree that moving the UPS most likely won't cure the problem.  If the buzz is low pitched (at the power line frequency), the problem could be that the filter capacitors in the unit are losing capacity.

If the buzz is high pitched, it could be that something has gone wonky with the charging circuit itself.  The batteries should all have between 2.25 and 2.3 volts per cell or 13.5 volts and 13.8 volts per 12 volt battery  while charging.  That equates to between 54 volts and 55.2 volts for the complete battery pack.

A clue as to whether the batteries are really going south is to see if any one or a small number of the cells are using a lot more water than the others.

Instead of motorcycle batteries, any lead-acid battery can be used.  They might not fit but you could use four of the little 12 volt lead-acid lawnmower batteries.
