[SEL] Gardiner engine dating

Hi all

Are there any dating records for the big Gardiner engines?
I have a full service tool kit in original factory wooden box, all spanners (wrenches), valve springs, test shafts, gaskets etc etc, will post pictures tonight our time.
I guess a good home for these would be the Anson Museum but freight would be very very expensive.
The engine number is: 115546 and another number which might be model 5L3 (hard to read) the engine is a 5 cylinder tug boat engine and the boat is now a land locked static display here. The place, as many would say, would be with the static display, but the group that looks after it is in disarray and this stuff will get lost.
What to do ???
