Darn Mike, I want to be hospitable...... but!!!!! The last fellas that
came in here were from California. I tried to be hospitable to them and
gave 'em some hunks of cheese and crackers. With you NC boys, I gave
you some hunks of iron and got cracked! What's the world coming to?

It was the dangdest thing. Steve and Tommy hunkered down over in the
corner
and went to swapping dollars, then I saw Steve and Tommy toast the deal
with
some diet Pepsis Steve had in his cooler. Next thing I know Tommy is
all
swimmy headed and sits down over in the lounge chair and gets real
sleepy
like. Steve then tells me he and Tommy struck a new deal and we were to

hook up to Tommy's big trailer and load the truck and trailer. Before
you
know it, we had a load of Hagans, Geisers and Ottos (oh my) and some of
the
nicest carts too. But before we left, Steve went over and drug Tommy
under
the shade so he wouldn't burn in that hot sun. My brother is
considerate
like that. As we drove out the driveway Tommy decided he was through
napping and started waiving something fierce, you could tell he was
choked
up a bit and staggering a might too. Well, being southern and all, we
waived back and hollered back too. I could here him saying "Yall come
back
here!!" He was already missing us something powerful. And then Steve
muttered something soft like "oh we will Tommy, we sure will."

This engine friendship is a powerful bond. My brother has that effect
on
folks.........
