I am lucky enough to have one of those Meadowbank engines althought not yet 
running. They were made in Meadowbank, Sydney, Australia by TheMeadowbank 
Manufacturing Co around 1915. There is not too many of them about and the 
firm closed in 1936. At first they were agents for Melvin engines from Scotland 
and then made a copy under their own name from 3 to 12 hp  They were quite 
a large engineering company making farm implements, Model T Ford 
bodies,rolling stock and made the majority of Trams used in Australia.
