[SEL] Bronze main bearing

I recently told someone how I fixed my Famous rod with bronze bearings a  few 
years ago.  The journal is round, but the bearings oval from use, with  most 
of the wear along the length of the rod.  Machined the  bearing cap edges 
where they meet until the bearings were a nice fit to the  journal.  Perpendicular 
to the rod may still be slightly loose, but will  last a long time for you 
and the shows.
