I had the same thing on my 6 Famous, I machined the laps where the bearings 
fit together until the worn(largest worn diameter) area was now the diameter of 
the crankshaft.  Of course this still makes the hole in the bronze oval 
shape.  Correct this by machining out the bronze to the correct diameter of the 
crank and rework the radiuses on the edges. Put in a few thousands shims when 
putting it on the crank and it should last another hundred years.
