Hi Paul,
I like vi for only two reasons. If you know how to use it, its powerful
as hell and it will be found on every Unix system in existance.
For doing real day-to-day work I use Slickedit exclusively; either a Unix
version or the PC version on my laptop. I HIGHLY recommend it.
