Can you share the bearing dimensions with us?
I took a look at some of my bearing books and McGill makes bearings you
describe. They put them in cam followers. Perhaps one will match.
I was also thinking a pair of tapered roller bearings pressed inside a
thin machined tube would do the trick too. This will provide both the
cantilevered load support and the thrust support you need.
