[SEL] stuck piston

Hi,I could use some help removing a 7” piston from a cylinder that is semi
headless in that it has a 4 “ hole in the top of the cylinder covered by a
four bolt plate. The plate has a ½” pipe threaded hole centered in the
plate. Has any one had any luck using a pressure washer piped directly to
the cylinder to completely fill the cyl. and push the piston out. If it
works  ,it would be an easier clean-up than the Grease gun method. Thanks in
