[SEL] Babbitt lapping compound

William,
Why would you lap Babbitt when it is SO easy to scrape? With any lapping
compound you will affect the surface of the steel shaft too. You will no
longer have a highly polished bright steel surface. Not the most desirable
to run on Babbitt.
