Well what do i go for ahy? Well i really like unrestored engines for
starters, original paint or all rust dosent matter, more original the
better, i have even bought restored engines and gone ahead and stripped all
the paint off because i like it better in its natural state!
and when i look at an engine it has to be mechanically different and has to
"do it for me" i have had some really rare stuff go through my hands over
the years but they never did it for me, just something about that engine
did'nt quite cut it, i even had the remains of an inverted rotary valve
crossley, but it just did'nt do it for me! and lots of people said i was mad
to let it go but it all comes down to personal preference.
i do have a soft spot for stover engines and american engines, but i also
have quite a few english and aussie engines as well. most are original and
are mechanically different in there own way.
     Cheers
           Mick
