Thanks, Helen.
That sure is a weird one.
Notice the very first little bid was by the same guy that won it.
Have you clicked on his little (11) feedback?
You would like the comment from the seller of the top item listed.
Then go look at what he paid for that item.
US $1,199.99 and here is a direct link to that item.

He knows how to spend money.

Take a look at this items final price! Bids weren't private! Would any of you paid this much?
Unless I don't understand the bidding system, after looking at the bid history I would say these were individual bids!

Interesting; thanks! I'll check it out. I used to just "snipe it
myself" but often forget to get on right near the end. Just too much
going on now I guess. I have wireless broadband (cable not available
out here in the country :( ) but it goes down unexpectedly sometimes.

Hey Lew,
I have used this free service for several years. I get three free
snipes 10 - 20 seconds before the auction closes each week.
Yes,,, They offer a paid service that will snipe in the last couple
seconds.
If I want something that bad I will be right there with this blazing
fast cable modem and snipe it myself.

early bidding just drives up the price. I
just bid my maximum thru ezsniper; bid goes in within the last few
seconds automatically & it costs very little. Also, if you refer new
folks to it you can get "free sniping credits."

Bill,
Yeah, but I want to try to "slip up" on something! Nothing wrong
with a guy wanting to buy a $100 item for a buck is there?........ just
having some fun here. I echo your comments. If its worth $30 to you,
bid it and ebay will let you know if you won. I still like the idea of
something for (almost) nothing though!
