condition. I have not seen an Olds that small so perhaps it is a salesmans
sample or a factory/showroom display piece.

OK folks.  I'm a bit baffled by a little Olds engine that I just got.  
Its in outstanding original condition.  I can't find any reference to 
one this small.  It looks exactly like the larger Type A's, but is very 
small.  The flywheels measure around 10 inches.  I am curious if this 
might be a Salesman Sample but by Olds for their traveling salesman to 
demonstrate.  I think the little engine would run with about 30 minutes 
work.  It's very dirty and needs a good cleaning.  Otherwise, I think 
its a little jewel.  Here are a few photos:

in better shape and more readable than the photo shows:

Tell me what you think.  Is it a Salesman Sample?
