[SEL] A spark plug question from a new member

Glen:

Welcome to the list!

I think you've got a common (for it's time) "Model T" spark plug - after the car which used them.

The thread is standard one-half inch pipe thread.

It's available new from at least two manufacturers, Champion and Autolite. In the U.S. they can be gotten (usually on order) from major auto parts stores.

As a side note.......Most of these engines don't care what brand or heat range of plug they have as long as it's good enough to produce a spark under compression. Just stick a good plug in it and you'll be fine.

Take care - Elden DuRand
