Peter, I would think the axle would be easily got from a wrecker. There are
heaps that specialise in F Truck parts. Its likely to be either a Ford 10
inch or a Dana axle. The dual and single axles are not interchangeable. I
had a 79 250 with a Dana and my 91 and 97 350's had Ford 10 inch.

Hi guys
A little off topic but it is stationary ;-))

My son-law has I think a Ford F250? or 350 V8 truck (pickup) an early model
and needs a rear axle urgently, is there anyone in Oz that can help please. 
No replies for the USA at present, due to costs in reight.
I will have to check with him when I get home as to the actual model!!
