Ray i am new to this what is to spark erode is that to use the arc welder on
it not heard of that before sounds interesting sorry if its a dumb
question..Just never heard of that before. i have unseized parts on moters
if the parts are steel i have found electrolysis to work extremely well as
the current passes right through in to areas that penetrants cant get into i
discovered this when unseizing some delicate parts on a very old sewing
machine made around 1895 i found that the parts that had been seized didnt
need much force to undo .With this process it cleans the grease and oil and
rust, paint also. Not good for alloys though will eat them away. brent nz

can spark erode it out for you. Mates rates for old engine work.

Hi guys ( & girls ) ,
something different, a couple of engine related questions, on a famous
engine is the fuel pump drive pin screwed or pressed into the cam, if it is
screwed what thread?, i have one broken off that i am trying to remove.
On a Stewart or Cooper little wonder (coffee pot engine) what are the height
of cooling pipes out the top of cylinder into hopper, is one longer than the
other to make the thermocycle work? Thanks for any help, cheers for now,
Chester from West Aussie.
