[SEL] Ignitor problems URGENT please

Peter,
  Check to see that the ignitor is properly grounded and the other lead 
is properly insulated, not cracked or burnt on the insulation. The 
ignitor should have a good snap when it trips.
The contacts may be checked by being sure that they are closed and then 
disconnecting the power to them.  You should get a spark at the 
connection-disconnection place.
