Hi Dave, I was one of the Founders of this show 23 years ago.
Percy Gallimore who suggested it said we would try and exhibit
1000 engines every year.
We never did manage it as we found that when we tried to get 
people to bring more engines, by the time we were approaching 
1000 far too many common small engines were being exhibited.
So we relented on the number & now many hundreds of good 
rare engines turn up. If you are proud of something rare you own
this is the place to show it off.
We get exhibitors from all over the British Isles,Ireland & several 
European countries. Even A few Aussies.
PS The beer lasted longer than usual this year due to a certain 
Yank being missing.
