Wednesday was a bit damp underfoot, but improved as the day went on,
the sales area had deep rutted mud where traffic had been, but by the
afternoon it was starting to dry out. Quite a few sellers had left
arrival until conditions improved.

Lots of interesting stuff to look at and photograph, most of the the
regulars from the Lists were there, although stories of bad weather at
Findlay were doing the rounds, and we had two days of travelling in
continuous rain down from Detroit.

Conditions were extremely humid on Wednesday, temperatures getting
into the 90's in the afternoon. Wednesday evening stayed dry with the
promise of a hot clear day on Thursday.

Thursday was better in terms of humidity, but hotter than Wednesday, a
bit of a breeze wafted round but is was still uncomfortable for us
folks used to UK temperatures!

The Charity Dinner and Auction went very well, great fun for all. We
took some video footage of some of the action and will release that as
soon as we have edited the DVD.

This morning it is clear and warm, promising another hot day....

Difficult to pull out specific items amongst so many, but Tommy
Turner's Callaghan was in superb condition, there was a 25hp 'Black
Bear' engine by the log cabin which we have yet to see running, but a
new one for us, J B Castagnos and friends had a large trailer full of
marine gas engines which were of interest. Featured engines this year
were Canadian manufactured types, featured tractors were Oliver.

Dave Rotigel's Austral was impressively quiet, very nice for such a
large engine.

We'll be off to Portland in about an hour's time.
