[SEL] An Engineman Needs Our Prayers

Hello List Members,

My good friend Bill Miller, a list member, and a long time engine man needs our prayers. His wife just sent me the message below and I wanted to get it out to everyone so he would be in the thoughts and prayers of all. Please remember Bill in your prayers, he is one of the finest men that ever walked the Earth.

Dear Paul:

Last Saturday morning, August 11,07 Bill had a mild stroke.  His speech was slurred but it had pretty well cleared up by the next day.  He is not paralyzed anywhere.  He had a spot on the right side of his eye but he says it has now gone away.  He was seeing a picture that kept changing.  He has some memory problems with names but they said he might get that back in a few weeks he is to go about physical therapy this Tuesday
so they can check him out again.  He had two days of it in the hospital.  He gets around good but of course tires easy.  He goes to his regular doctor this Thursday then goes to the 
neutralist, heart doctor and Eye doctor in mid September.  

He came home from the hospital Thursday 8-16-07.  It is bad enough but we are so thankful that it wasn't so much worse.  

He said tell all the guys on the old engine list, and please pray for him and all the family. We will be in touch.  Hope all is going well with you and your family.  He has been checking his E-mail the past two day.  Can't keep a good man down.
