Following this theme,
Years back we had a pup  that had a 'plastic fetish'
A mate left a new trike to be tuned and the dog 'ate' the seat overnight!! 
Not a happy owner!!
It also ate the wiring harness under the van one night. Of course, the next 
morning was an important early start!!
It finally did us all a favor and got run over.
That was one animal we were not sorry to lose.
