[SEL] Anyone Ever Used Phosphoric Acid to DeRust

I'm trying to clean up some items that went through a fire and sat
outside for a year or so. I haven't had much luck using molasses to
remove rust. I must have had the wrong mixture. What percentages of
molasses and water do you use?
