Hi Arnie and others, reading this just reminded me of a conversation
I had with Tom Lingard (the new hornsby reg guy) about his recent
trip to the Uk, He was talking about some amazing paint finishes that
he has seen were the owners have actually re-painted the whole engine
to resemble an original "WORKING CLOTHES' look. Tom said that if he
was not told that had been repainted he would never had known it not
to be a top class example of an original as is engine. I will try
and follow this up over the weekend as he was going to send a couple
of pics to me showing the engines in question. Could be a good
project for the game on an engine that really needs a paint job.
Can't be that hard can it??? I often see new furniture with the
antique look. Even my sister can do it and she's a girl!! ..... :-)
