Rick,

I just used our 7hp Economy buzz rig for a few hours this weekend. I've 
never had a hard time starting it with the belt on and the belt tensioner on 
also. Are your shaft bearings too tight on the saw portion? Sounds like you 
have excess friction somewhere if the engine doesn't start right up and get 
up to speed.
