Hi Tom, 20 years ago I owned an Internation Harvester "Tom Thumb".
I bought it off a Danish friend & after rebuilding it I needed a Trembler coil.
I had a Ford trembler box but someone had used it for a drilling pad.
The Tom Thumb used a wooden box as trembler & battery container so
I made one using the metalwork from the Ford trembler, (The only thing workable)
I used a standard magneto coil with the Ford trembler mounted above.
See http://community.webshots.com/photo/74826143/132322556QFbsdF and
the next two pictures. A 6 volt accumulator fits underneath the coil.
I took the pictures 20 years after building it so that is why it looks so tatty!
It was quite easy to make & is still working when required all these years later.
