Francis, the water line does come from a fitting on the hopper drain and goes to the third (or in earlier models, second) needle valve on the mixer. I restored the water line on mine. It only works when the engine is quite hot, and running hard. If it's idling, it's hard to not kill the engine with the water mist. John Culp Bristol, Tennessee, USA
