[SEL] paint remover

I have an ongoing project ,the restoration of a small wooden ,Carvel hulled 
boat . At the moment i am using a High Pressure water washer to remove old 
paint and other rubbish from within the hull. Does any one know about a 
Citric based paint remover ? There is a product called Citri -Strip 
,environmentally OK ,stays soft for 24 hrs. As I have a fairly large supply 
of Citric acid .....I was wondering if I can make some thing up that will 
speed up the removal of the old paint.
